Larger, high strung, younger dogs with fast metabolisms might find that they need more of a dosage to be effective vs a dog that is smaller and older. Try a half of a dose the first time, give it a few hours to see the reaction your pet gets. If it works to help calm them down then you found a good dose. If not, try the full dropper the next time. Also allow the right amount of time to have the CBD go into effect. For example, if your dog needs more CBD to feel the effects, give it a full dose 4 hours before your appointment, then another dose 10 minutes before the appointment. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. If you dog reacts well with one dose, give 20 minutes before the appointment. CBD Pet Salve comes in a 1oz tin and is handmade with 1000mg of Full Spectrum CBD Oil. It is made to help out our furry friends that have skin issues, growths, hot spots and insect bites due to scratching and itching. It is to be used as a mild pain reliever. Apply when needed and allow for an hour to help with relief then gently wipe off with a damp warm cloth. Can be used for insect bites, swelling, inflammation, dry flaky skin and pain. Contains beeswax so do not leave on the skin for more than an hour. Keep the area clean from bacteria so it can properly heal. If the wound does not get better best to have a Veterinarian take a look. As always, check with your Veterinarian for deep wounds, infections and injuries.
