Dogs over 20 pounds use one full dropperful for a dose. For dogs under 20 pounds use 1/2 of a dropperful for a dose. Larger, active, younger dogs with fast metabolisms might find that they need more of a dosage to be effective vs a dog that is smaller, calmer and older. Try a half of a dose the first time, give it a few hours to see the reaction your pet has. If it works to help calm them down then you found a good dose. If not, give another half. Also allow the right amount of time to have the CBD go into effect. For example, if your dog needs more CBD to feel the effects, give it a full dose 4 hours before your appointment, then another dose 10 minutes before the appointment. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. If you dog reacts well with one dose, give 20 minutes before the appointment. Apply when needed and allow for an hour to help with relief then gently wipe off with a damp warm cloth. Can be used for insect bites, swelling, inflammation, dry flaky skin and pain.
